The main area of Alex’s professional interest is positioned within the fields of energy and environment, with a particular focus on building and urban scale. He is equally committed to teaching, researching, and practicing. He is currently Partner and Senior Consultant at Aiguasol Engineering (Barcelona, Spain). Alex is elected member of the Scientific Society of Serbia. He also serves as a Member of the International Keio Institute for Architecture and Urbanism at Keio University (Tokyo, Japan). He is former Member of the Expert Board Member of Skolkovo Innovation Center (Moscow, Russia). His teaching carrier includes Barcelona Institute of Architecture, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, among others. Alex also gave lectures at Princeton University, University of Geneva, Aalto University, Universita della Svizzera Italiana, New Delhi Schoolo of Planning and Architecture, Polytechnics University of Madrid and University of Malmo, among others. Alex has published more than sixty scientific and technical papers relating to energy systems, urban infrastructures, renewable energies, renewable integration in urban space, energy planning, heat and mass transfer and computational fluid dynamics. He also published the book titled EnergyScapes (2010 Gustavo Gili).
